Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

باب فضل الصحابة والتابعين رضي الله عنهم - ذكر البيان بأن الأنصار كانت كرش رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وعيبته-
Hadith Number: 7265
اخبرنا احمد بن الحسن الجرادي بالموصل، حدثنا محمد بن المثنى ، حدثنا غندر ، حدثنا شعبة ، قال: سمعت قتادة يحدث، عن انس ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" إن الانصار كرشي وعيبتي، وإن الناس يكثرون ويقلون، فاقبلوا من محسنهم، واعفوا عن مسيئهم" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the Ansar are the closest to me. People will keep increasing while they will keep decreasing. Accept the goodness of the good among them and overlook the bad of their bad ones."
