اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم ، حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم ، حدثنا الاوزاعي ، حدثني يحيى بن ابي كثير ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ستخرج عليكم نار في آخر الزمان من حضرموت تحشر الناس"، قال: قلنا: بما تامرنا يا رسول الله؟ قال:" عليكم بالشام" ، قال ابو حاتم: اول الشام بالس، وآخره عريش مصر.
Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the last era, a fire will emerge from Hadramaut that will gather the people together." The narrator says: We asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do then?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stay in Sham (Greater Syria)."
