Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب وصف الجنة وأهلها - ذكر البيان بأن الغرف التي ذكرنا نعتها هي للمؤمنين في الجنة دون الأنبياء والمرسلين-
Hadith Number: 7393
اخبرنا احمد بن مكرم بن خالد البرتي ، قال: حدثنا علي ابن المديني ، قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى ، قال: حدثنا مالك بن انس ، عن صفوان بن سليم ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" إن اهل الجنة ليتراءون اهل الغرف من فوقهم، كما تراءون الكوكب الدري الغابر، او الغائر في الافق من المشرق والمغرب"، قالوا: يا رسول الله، تلك منازل الانبياء لا يبلغها غيرهم؟ قال:" بلى، والذي نفسي بيده، رجال آمنوا بالله، وصدقوا المرسلين" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the people of Paradise will see the upper chambers above them just as you see a shining star appearing on the horizon of the east or west." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will these be the special places of the Prophets, where no one else will be able to reach?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, these will be the people who believed in Allah and affirmed the Messengers."
