Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

باب وصف الجنة وأهلها - ذكر الإخبار بأن الجنة كأنها حفت بالمكاره التي إذا لم يصبر المرء عليها في الدنيا لا يكاد يتمكن من الجنان في العقبى-
Hadith Number: 7394
اخبرنا اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو نصر التمار ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لما خلق الله الجنة، قال: يا جبريل، اذهب فانظر إليها، فذهب فنظر، فقال: يا رب، وعزتك لا يسمع بها احد إلا دخلها، فحفها بالمكاره، ثم قال: اذهب فانظر إليها، فذهب فنظر إليها، فقال: يا رب، لقد خشيت ان لا يدخلها احد، فلما خلق الله النار، قال: يا جبريل، اذهب فانظر إليها، فذهب فنظر إليها، فقال: يا رب، وعزتك لا يسمع بها احد فيدخلها، فحفها بالشهوات، ثم قال: اذهب فانظر إليها، فذهب فنظر إليها، فقال: يا رب، وعزتك لقد خشيت ان لا يبقى احد إلا دخلها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty created Paradise, He said: O Jibreel, go and look at it. He went and looked at it, then said: O my Lord! By Your honor, whoever hears about it will surely enter it. Then Allah Almighty surrounded it with disliked things. Then He said: Go and look at it. He went and looked at it, then said: O my Lord! Now I fear that no one will enter it. (The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:) When Allah Almighty created Hell, He said: O Jibreel! Go and look at it. He went and looked at it, then said: O my Lord! By Your honor, whoever hears about it will not enter it. Then the Lord surrounded it with desirable things, then said: Go and look at it. He went and looked at it, then said: O my Lord! By Your honor, I fear that everyone will enter it."
