Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

باب وصف الجنة وأهلها - ذكر الخبر المدحض قول من زعم أن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد لم يسمع هذا الخبر من قيس بن أبي حازم-
Hadith Number: 7443
اخبرنا محمد بن يحيى بن بسطام ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا يحيى القطان ، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، قال: حدثني قيس ، قال: قال لي جرير بن عبد الله : كنا جلوسا عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذ نظر إلى القمر ليلة البدر، فقال:" اما إنكم سترون ربكم كما ترون هذا، لا تضامون في رؤيته، فإن استطعتم ان لا تغلبوا على صلاة قبل طلوع الشمس وقبل غروبها، فافعلوا"، ثم قرا: وسبح بحمد ربك قبل طلوع الشمس وقبل غروبها .
Qais narrates: Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) told me: We were sitting with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when he looked at the moon on the night of the fourteenth and said: Soon you will see your Lord just as you are seeing this (moon). You will have no difficulty in seeing Him. If you are able, then do not be overcome regarding the prayers before sunrise and before sunset. Then he recited this verse: "And glorify your Lord with His praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting."
