Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب صفة النار وأهلها - ذكر خبر قد يوهم غير المتبحر في صناعة العلم أن الموءودة لا محالة في النار-
Hadith Number: 7480
اخبرنا محمد بن صالح بن ذريح بعكبراء، قال: حدثنا مسروق بن المرزبان ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة ، قال: حدثنا ابي ، عن عامر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" الوائدة والموؤدة في النار" ، اخبرناه ابن ذريح في عقبه، قال: حدثنا مسروق بن المرزبان ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة ، قال: قال ابي فحدثني ابو إسحاق ، ان عامرا حدثه بذلك، عن علقمة ، عن ابن مسعود ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال ابو حاتم: خطاب هذا الخبر ورد في الكفار دون المسلمين، يريد بقوله: الوائدة والموؤدة من الكفار في النار.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The woman who buries alive and the one who is buried alive will be in Hell." The same narration, with another chain, is also reported from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) These words of the narration are regarding the women of the disbelievers, not about the Muslims. The statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "The woman who buries alive and the one who is buried alive" refers to those women who are associated with the disbelievers. They will be in Hell.
