It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to perform ruqyah for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) against the evil eye in this way: "O Lord of the people! Remove his pain. Grant him healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the presence of the Prophet, sat in front of him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have some slaves; they lie to me, commit dishonesty, and do not obey me. Then I beat them and speak harshly to them. What will be my situation with regard to them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Their dishonesty, lying, and disobedience and your punishment will all be accounted for. If your punishment is less than their crimes, it will be better for you. If your punishment is equal to their sins, then the matter will be settled equally—neither for you nor against you. And if your punishment exceeds their sins, then the excess will be taken from you." Upon this, the man began to weep and cry out in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What has happened to him? Does he not read this verse in the Noble Qur'an: 'And We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be dealt with unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.'" The man said, "O Messenger of Allah! I do not find any better solution than to separate all these slaves from myself. Therefore, I make you a witness that they are all free."

Abu Ubaidah bin Abdullah says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what is meant by "Kawthar"? She replied that it is a river which has been given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the "Batnan of Paradise." I asked what is meant by "Batnan of Paradise"? She replied, the middle of Paradise, and on both its banks will be hollow pearls.

Abdullah says that all the remaining hadiths ahead I found written in my father's manuscript in his own handwriting. It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never hit any servant or any wife, nor did he ever strike anyone with his own hand except when he was fighting in the way of Allah. If anyone showed disrespect towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he never took revenge on that person, but if the sanctities of Allah were violated, he would take revenge for the sake of Allah. And whenever two things were presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of them was easier, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would choose the easier one, unless it was a sin. If it was a sin, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would keep himself farther from it than anyone else.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The deceased is punished because of the weeping of his family over him. Someone mentioned this to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), saying that she narrates from her father that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated that the deceased is being punished because of the weeping of his family. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: He has become confused; by Allah, he is not a liar, nor was he told anything incorrect, nor did he add anything to the religion. In fact, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once passed by the grave of a Jew and said regarding him that he is being punished at this moment while his family is weeping over him.
