Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) stated this, when this verse was revealed: "Then surely, on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute with one another before your Lord." Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! The differences that exist between us in this world, will there be differences between us again afterwards? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes!" So I submitted: Then the matter will be very severe!

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when this verse was revealed: "Then you will surely be questioned about the blessings," I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! About which blessings will we be questioned? Whereas we only have these two things: dates and water. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This will certainly happen." Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The narrator named Sufyan has sometimes narrated these words as being from Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), while at other times he has narrated these words as being from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), then he said that Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said this.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement from Sayyiduna Zubair bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him): When this verse was revealed: "Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute with one another before your Lord," Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! The differences that exist between us in this world, will they come back to us again along with their specific sins? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, until each rightful person among you is given his specific right."

Urwah bin Zubair narrates this statement of Sayyiduna Zubair bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him): We were coming with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from «لِيّه» (a suburb of Ta’if), until when we reached Sidrah (a berry tree), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped at Qarn Aswad (a small mountain or a village near Ta’if). He (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed opposite to it and faced towards Nakhb (a small valley by that name). He (peace and blessings be upon him) remained there, so the people also stayed. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, the game of «وج» (i.e., Ta’if) and its trees are also part of the Haram, which Allah Almighty has made sacred.”The narrator says: This incident took place before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) camped at Ta’if and before the siege of the tribe of Thaqif.

Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman narrates: Abu Darda became ill, so Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit him. Abu Darda said: To my knowledge, among the people, the best and the one who takes the greatest care of the rights of kinship is Abu Muhammad. So Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:“Allah the Exalted says: I am Allah, I am the Most Merciful (Rahman), I created the womb (rahm, kinship) and I named it after My name. So whoever maintains it, I will maintain ties with him, and whoever cuts it off, I will cut him off completely.”
