Narration on Tayammum up to the Shoulders and Touching the Armpit
Hadith Number: 143
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we performed tayammum up to the shoulders. The narrator named Abu Bakr says: I was present with Sufyan when Yahya bin Saeed al-Qattan asked him about this, so he narrated this hadith and mentioned that Zuhri had narrated this. Then he mentioned: I was present with Ismail bin Umayyah when he came to Zuhri and said: O Abu Bakr! (this is the kunyah of Ibn Shihab Zuhri) People object to two hadiths you have narrated. Zuhri asked: Which are they? So he said: This narration that in the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) we used to perform tayammum up to the shoulders. Zuhri said: Abdullah bin Abdullah narrated this to me from his father, from Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: One narration is transmitted from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he ordered the person who touches his armpit to perform wudu, so I felt from Zuhri’s face that he denied this narration (i.e., he did not narrate this). Although Amr bin Dinar had previously narrated this to us from Zuhri. Later, I mentioned this narration to Amr, so he said: Yes! He narrated this to us.
Narration on Rolling on the Ground and Tayammum after Janabah
Hadith Number: 144
Najiyah bin Ka'b narrates: Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): Do you remember, when you and I were herding camels, I became junub (in a state of major ritual impurity), so I rolled on the ground as an animal rolls. Then I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and we mentioned this matter before him, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For you, it would have been sufficient to perform tayammum in its place."
Narration on Short Prayer and One’s Share in the Record of Deeds
Hadith Number: 145
Abdullah bin Unmah Juhani narrates: A man saw Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) performing a brief prayer. When he completed the prayer, the man said to him: O Abu al-Yaqtan! Today you performed a brief prayer. He asked: Did you see me shorten anything in the bowing or prostration? He replied: No. So Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I wanted to hasten in the prostration of forgetfulness, because I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Sometimes when a man finishes performing the prayer, only a tenth, or a ninth, or an eighth, or a seventh, or a sixth, or a fifth, or a fourth, or a third, or half of it is written for him in his record of deeds."

Hassan bin Bilal Muzani narrates: A person was shown to Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) who was passing his fingers through his beard while performing ablution. Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: Do you also pass your fingers through your beard? He replied: Why should I not do so, when I have seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passing his fingers through his blessed beard.
