حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عقبة ، قال: سمعت ام خالد بنت خالد ، تقول:" سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يتعوذ من عذاب القبر" . قال موسى: ولم اسمع من احد سمع من النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غيرها.
Sayyida Umm Khalid bint Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave. The narrator named Musa bin Uqbah says: I have not heard this from anyone else, that anyone other than Sayyida Umm Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave.

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن سعيد السعيدي ، عن ابيه ، عن ام خالد بنت خالد ، قالت: قدمت من ارض الحبشة وانا جويرية، فكساني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خميصة لها اعلام، فجعل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمسح الاعلام بيده، ويقول:" سناه , سناه" . قال ابو بكر: يعني: حسن.
Sayyida Umm Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I came from the land of Abyssinia when I was a young girl. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me a sheet to wear which had designs on it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was passing his blessed hand over those designs and saying: How beautiful these are. How beautiful these are.
Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: (The word "sanah" used in the text of the narration) means to be good.
