Hadith Number: 352
حدثنا مروان بن معاوية ، قال: حدثنا هلال بن ميمون الجهني الرملي ، عن يعلى بن شداد ابي ثابت ، عن ام حرام ، قالت: ذكر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم غزاة البحر , فقال: " للمائد اجر شهيد، وللغرق اجر شهيدين"، قالت: فقلت: يا رسول الله! ادع الله عز وجل ان يجعلني منهم، قال:" اللهم اجعلها منهم"، فغزت البحر , فلما خرجت ركبت دابتها , فسقطت فماتت .
Lady Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned naval warfare and said:“Whoever feels dizzy in it will receive the reward of a martyr, and whoever drowns will receive the reward of two martyrs.”The lady narrates: I said,“O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them.”So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed:“O Allah! Include her among them.”That lady participated in the naval battle, and when she came out from there, she mounted a riding animal, fell from it, and passed away.
