Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wants to see the Day of Resurrection as if it is before his very eyes, let him recite these Surahs: Surah At-Takweer, Surah Al-Infitar, and Surah Al-Inshiqaq. The narrator says: I think Surah Hud was also mentioned.

Chapter: "He said: If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support"
Hadith Number: 8636
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said about Lut (peace be upon him): {لَوْ أَ نَّ لِی بِکُمْ قُوَّۃً أَوْ آوِی إِلٰی رُکْنٍ شَدِیدٍ} … If only I had the strength to oppose you or could rely on a strong supporter. (Surah Hud: 80) The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: He (Lut, peace be upon him) sought support from his Lord, the Strong Support. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: After him, whenever Allah Almighty sent a prophet, He sent him among a large multitude of his people.

So after that, Allah did not send any prophet except from the noblest lineage of his people. The words of the narrator Abu ‘Umar are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: So Allah, the Exalted, did not send any prophet after him except that He kept him protected among his own people.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): A woman whose husband was away from home came to a man to buy something. He said: Go inside this room so that I can give you your thing. When she entered, the man kissed and embraced her. The woman said: Alas! My husband was away from home, what have you done? The man let her go and felt remorse. Then he went to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and told him what he had done. He (Umar) said: It seems that the woman's husband was not at home, so she came to buy something? He replied: Yes, he was away from home. Umar said: Then go to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and ask him. So he went to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and told him everything. He (Abu Bakr) said: You will be ruined, perhaps her husband was not at home? He replied: Yes, her husband was not at home. Then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Go to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and tell him the details. So he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him the incident. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It seems that the woman's husband was away from home? The man said: Yes, indeed, he was not at home. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, and then this verse of the Noble Qur'an was revealed: {وَاَقِمِ الصَّلٰوۃَ طَرَفَیِ النَّہَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِّنَ الَّیْلِ اِنَّ الْحَسَنٰتِ یُذْہِبْنَ السَّـیِّاٰتِ ذٰلِکَ ذِکْرٰی لِلذّٰکِرِیْنَ۔} ... And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at some hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds remove bad deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. The man said: O Messenger of Allah! Is this command specific to me or general for all people? Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No, this glad tidings is not only for you, but for all people. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said: Umar has spoken the truth.

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I caught hold of a woman in a garden and did everything with her except for adultery; I kissed her and embraced her, but did nothing beyond that. Now I am present before you, so impose upon me whatever punishment you wish. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say anything to him, and the man left. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said about him: Allah had concealed this for him, if only he had concealed it himself. Meanwhile, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept looking after the departing man, and finally the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Call him back. So when he was brought back, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse to him: {وَاَقِمِ الصَّلٰوۃَ طَرَفَیِ النَّہَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِّنَ الَّیْلِ اِنَّ الْحَسَنٰتِ یُذْہِبْنَ السَّـیِّاٰتِ ذٰلِکَ ذِکْرٰی لِلذّٰکِرِیْنَ۔} … And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at some hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds remove bad deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Is this only for him or for all people? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is for all people.
