Hadith Number: 3957
قال ابو عيسى: جميع ما في هذا الكتاب من الحديث فهو معمول به. وقد اخذ به بعض اهل العلم ما خلا حديثين:
Imam Tirmidhi says: All the hadiths of this book (Al-Sunan) are practiced upon; some scholars have acted upon them, except for two hadiths which are excluded from this.
Hadith Number: Q3957
1- حديث ابن عباس ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جمع بين الظهر والعصر بالمدينة والمغرب والعشائ من غير خوف ولا مطر.
1- The hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) combined and performed together the Zuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha prayers in Madinah without any fear or rain as an excuse.

2-وحديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه قال:"إذا شرب الخمر فاجلدوه؛ فإن عاد في الرابعة فاقتلوه". وقد بينا علة الحديثين جميعا في الكتاب.
2- Second Hadith: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When a drunkard drinks wine, flog him; if he drinks it a fourth time, then kill him." We have explained the reason for both hadiths in "Kitab al-Sunan."

Chapter: Chains of Transmission of Jurists' Opinions

قال: وما ذكرنا في هذا الكتاب من اختيار الفقهائ:
We have mentioned the authorities of the jurists in this book.

1- فما كان منه من قول سفيان الثوري فاكثره ما حدثنا به محمد بن عثمان الكوفي، حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى، عن سفيان.
1- Most of the sayings of Sufyan Thawri have been narrated by us with the chain «محمد بن عثمان کوفی عن عبیداللہ بن موسیٰ عن الثوری» .

2- ومنه ما حدثني به ابو الفضل مكتوم بن العباس الترمذي، حدثنا محمد بن يوسف الفريابي، عن سفيان.
2- Some statements are narrated with the chain «ابوالفضل مکتوم بن عباس ترمذی عن محمد بن یوسف فریابی عن سفیان» .

3- وما كان فيه من قول مالك بن انس فاكثره ما حدثنا به إسحاق بن موسى الانصاري، حدثنا معن بن عيسى القزاز، عن مالك بن انس.
3- We have transmitted most of Malik's statements with the chain «اسحاق بن موسیٰ انصاری عن معن بن عیسیٰ القزاز عن مالک» .

4- وما كان فيه من ابواب الصوم؛ فاخبرنا به ابو مصعب المديني عن مالك بن انس.
4- The statements regarding the chapters of fasting are narrated with the chain «ابومصعب المدینی عن مالک» .

5- وبعض كلام مالك ما اخبرنا به موسى بن حزام قال: حدثنا عبدالله بن مسلمة القعنبي، عن مالك بن انس.
5- Some statements of Malik are transmitted with the chain «موسیٰ بن حزام عن عبداللہ بن مسلمة القعنبی عن مالک» .

6- وما كان فيه من قول ابن المبارك فهو ما حدثنا به احمد بن عبدة الآملي عن اصحاب ابن المبارك، عنه.
6- The chain of narration for the statements of Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak is: «عن احمد بن عبدہ أملی عن اصحاب ابن مبارک، عن ابن مبارک» .
