Moata Imam Malik (Qasim)
Virtue of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq
Hadith Number: 628
And with this same chain (it is narrated) from (Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said (during his final illness): "Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." So Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, when Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stands in your place, due to weeping he will not be able to make his voice heard to the people. Order Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, to lead the people in prayer." But the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." Then Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I said to Sayyidah Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her: Tell him that if Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stands in your place, due to weeping he will not be able to make his voice heard to the people, so order Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, to lead the people in prayer. Sayyidah Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her, did so, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not say such things, you are like the women who gathered about Yusuf (Joseph), order Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." So Sayyidah Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her, said to Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "No good has ever come to me from your side."

Virtue of Muawiyah (RA)
Hadith Number: 629
And with this same chain of narration, it is narrated that (Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said): The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he would go to Quba, he would visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, may Allah be pleased with her. She would feed him food. Umm Haram bint Milhan was the wife of Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit, may Allah be pleased with him. So, on that day, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went to her, and she fed him food and began to search through his hair. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fell asleep. Then, when he woke up from sleep, he was smiling. Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: O Messenger of Allah! Why are you smiling? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“Some people from my Ummah were shown to me (in my sleep) who were fighting in the way of Allah in the midst of the sea, as if they were kings sitting on thrones.”She said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for her. Then he rested his head and slept. Then, when he woke up from sleep, he was smiling. Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked: O Messenger of Allah! Why are you smiling? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“Some people from my Ummah were shown to me (in my sleep) who were sitting on thrones like kings, fighting in the way of Allah,”just as he had said the first time. So Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“You will be among the first group.”(Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said): Then she participated in the naval expedition during the time of Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, may Allah be pleased with him, and when she came out of the sea, she fell from her mount and passed away.

Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) Was Knowledgeable
Hadith Number: 630
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the trees, there is a tree whose leaves do not fall (throughout the year), and its example is like that of a Muslim man. Tell me, which tree is this?" So the people began to think about the trees of the forest, and it occurred to me that it is the date-palm tree, but due to shyness, I did not speak. Then the people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us, which tree is it?" He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is the date-palm tree." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: Then I told (my father) Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, what had occurred to me in my heart, so Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "If you had said this (at that time), it would have been more beloved to me than such and such things." The narrations of Abdullah bin Dinar from Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, have been completed, and one narration has already passed in the chapter of Zayd (bin Aslam) [ ح ۱۶۵] , and the other has already passed in the chapter of Nafi' [ ح ۲۰۲] .

Ibn Umar's (RA) love for the Sunnah
Hadith Number: 631
It is narrated from Ubaid bin Juraij (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): O Abu Abdur Rahman! I have seen you doing four things which none of your companions do. He asked: O Ibn Juraij! What are those things? I said: During Tawaf, you only touch the two Yemeni corners (the two walls of the Ka'bah that face Yemen), and I have seen you wearing hairless sandals, and I have seen you applying yellow dye, and when you are in Makkah (and) people start saying Talbiyah as soon as they see the (Dhul-Hijjah) moon, whereas you do not say Talbiyah before the Day of Tarwiyah (8th Dhul-Hijjah). Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: As for the matter of the corners, I have not seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) touch any corner except the two Yemeni corners; as for the hairless sandals, I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wear hairless sandals and perform ablution in them, and I like to wear them; as for the yellow dye, I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) apply this dye, and for this reason I like to apply it; as for saying Talbiyah, I have never seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say Talbiyah before sending off his mount (towards Mina on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah).

Exemplary character of Abu Talha (RA)
Hadith Number: 633
And with this same chain of narration, it is narrated that (Sayyiduna) Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Among the Ansar of Madinah, (Sayyiduna) Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, was the wealthiest, as he had date orchards, and among them, the garden of Birha’ was the most beloved to him, which was in front of the mosque. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to go into this (garden) and drink its sweet water. Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: When this verse was revealed « لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ» [ آل عمران: 92] “You will never attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love,”Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah! Allah says in His Book: « لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ» and among my wealth, Birha’ (the garden) is the most beloved to me, and now it is charity for Allah; I hope that it will be a source of goodness and treasure for me with Allah. O Messenger of Allah! Use it as you wish. He said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“Wonderful! This is profitable wealth, this is profitable wealth. I have heard what you have said, and I think you should spend it among your relatives.”So Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: O Messenger of Allah! I will do so. Then Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, distributed it among his relatives and the children of his uncle.
