It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, a man will come who will hope to be saved on the basis of his good deeds. Those whom he wronged will come and keep taking his good deeds, until his good deeds are finished. Then another oppressed person will come, and now his own good deeds have already ended, so the bad deeds of the oppressed will be placed in his account."

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty looks at His creation on the night of mid-Sha'ban and forgives all His creation, except for the one who associates partners with Him and the one who harbors enmity." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal, Sayyiduna Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik, and Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with them all).

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people of Tawheed will be punished in Hell, until they are burnt and become like charcoal. Then Allah's mercy will reach them, they will be taken out, brought to the doors of Paradise, and the people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them, and their bodies will grow just as a plant grows from a seed in the debris carried by a flood."

Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa narrates from his father, who says: I came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with some members of my tribe. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rejoice and give glad tidings to those who come after you that whoever bears witness with a sincere heart that Allah alone is the true deity, he will enter Paradise." We left the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to convey this glad tidings to the people, and we met Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). (When he learned of the situation,) he sent us back to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who sent you back?" We said: Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) did. He asked: "Umar! Why did you send them back?" Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (If such glad tidings are given to the people,) they will rely on it (and abandon further deeds)." Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent.

Salim bin Amir says that I heard Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go out and announce among the people that whoever testifies that Allah alone is the true deity, Paradise will become obligatory for him." He says: I went out to make the announcement, and ahead I encountered Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: Abu Bakr, where and how? I said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has commanded me to go and announce among the people that whoever testifies that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, Paradise will become obligatory for him. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (Without making this announcement) return to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); I fear that people will rely on this (good news) and abandon acting (righteously). I returned, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Why have you come back?" I told him what Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had said. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Umar has spoken the truth."

Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on a military expedition. We said: O Messenger of Allah! The enemy has arrived well-fed and we are hungry (what will happen)? The Ansar said: Should we not slaughter some camels and feed the people? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has extra food, let him bring it. Some brought a mudd, some a sa’, some brought more, and some brought less. In total, twenty-four sa’ were collected from the whole army. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sat by this pile, supplicated for blessing, then said:“Begin taking, but do not snatch.”The people filled their own bags, sacks, and vessels, until some even tied up their sleeves and filled them, and the grain remained as it was. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“I bear witness that Allah alone is worthy of worship and I am the Messenger of Allah. Whoever brings these two (testimonies) with truth, Allah Almighty will save him from the heat of Hell.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty created the Pen first, held it in His right hand, and both hands of Allah Almighty are right hands. Then He wrote the world, and every good and evil deed done in the world, and every moist and dry thing, and counted all things in the Preserved Tablet with Him. Then He said: If you wish, recite this verse: 'This is Our Book that speaks about you in truth; indeed, We were recording what you used to do.' (Surah Al-Jathiyah: 29) Writing and copying occur only in that matter which has already been completed."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When I tell you something, do not ask me further questions about it." Then he said: "There are four words which are extremely good (and excellent) in speech, and their mention is in the Noble Qur'an. Whichever of these words is mentioned first, it will not harm you. (Those words are:) «سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله والله اكبر» ." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not name your child Aflah, Najeeh, Rabah, or Yasar, because if you ask, 'Is he here?' and he is not there, then (the one answering) will say: 'No.'"

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would command the companions to do something, he would instruct them to do only those deeds which they were capable of performing. She said: O Messenger of Allah! We are not like you, (your situation is such that) Allah Almighty has forgiven your past and future sins, (whereas we are sinners, so we should do more deeds). But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would become displeased at this demand, and his displeasure would be apparent from his face, then he would say:“Indeed, I am the one among you who fears Allah the most and knows Him the best.”
