It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade drinking water from the mouth of a water-skin, because it becomes foul-smelling due to that.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating «مجثمه» , and it is that (bird or game) which is tied up and then shot with an arrow.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Khaybar forbade the meat of domestic donkeys and permitted (maintained the allowance of) the meat of horses.

Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me which things are lawful for me and which things are unlawful? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Do not eat the meat of domestic donkeys and every predatory animal with fangs.”

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not part of Islam that, at the time of slaughter, one of the camel's legs be cut off."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I and Khalid bin Walid went to our maternal aunt Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). She said: O Messenger of Allah! My brother, who lives in the desert, has presented a gift; should I feed it to you? Then she brought two roasted lizards, hanging on a bunch of dates. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is not among the foods of my people, and I feel aversion to it." Then Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sayyiduna Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) ate them, but Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The food which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) does not eat, I also do not eat. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for a drink, and a bowl of milk was presented. He (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it. On his right was Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and on his left was Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Will you permit me to give it to Khalid?" Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I will not give preference to anyone over myself regarding the leftover of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) took the vessel and drank the milk, then Khalid drank. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah feeds, let him say: O Allah! Bless us in it and grant us better sustenance than it. And whoever Allah gives milk to drink, let him say: O Allah! Bless us in it and give us more of it, for I know of nothing that suffices for both food and drink except milk."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Ashhal رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم forbade eating the lizard (saanda).
