Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr Bazani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that two Bedouins came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). One of them said: "Which people are the best?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glad tidings and happiness are for the person whose life is long and whose deeds are good." The other asked: "Which deed is the best?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best deed is that when you depart from this world, your tongue is moist with the remembrance of Allah, the Exalted."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:“Allah the Exalted has said: O son of Adam! As long as you call upon Me and remain hopeful of Me, I will continue to forgive you, whatever your sins may be, and I will not mind. O son of Adam! If your sins reach up to the heights of the sky, then you seek forgiveness from Me, I will forgive you without caring. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and meet Me not associating anything with Me, I will grant you forgiveness as great as that.”

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: The Quraysh said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Pray to your Lord that the mountain of Safa becomes gold, (if this happens) we will believe in you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“(Really) will you do so?”They said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, Jibreel (peace be upon him) came and said: Your Lord sends you greetings, and also said: If you wish, the mountain of Safa will become gold for them, but after this miracle, whoever disbelieves, I will punish him with such a punishment as I have not given to anyone in the worlds; and if you wish, I will keep the door of repentance and mercy open for them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“(Alright, instead of this miracle) I want the door of repentance and mercy.”

Surely, my Lord is All-Knowing of their plot." -" ليس احد افضل عند الله من مؤمن يعمر في الإسلام، لتسبيحه وتكبيره وتهليله".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from the tribe of Banu Udhrah came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and accepted Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who will take care of them?" Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I will." They stayed with Talhah. One day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent out an army, and one of them joined it and was martyred. (After some time) the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent out another army, and another one of them joined it and he too was martyred. Then (after some time) the third man died a natural death on his bed. Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw all three of them in Paradise in a dream. What I saw was that the one who died a natural death on his bed was ahead of the others, behind him was the one who was martyred second, and at the end was the one who was martyred first. I was greatly concerned about these ranks, so I came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and related this dream. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why are you surprised at this? The most virtuous among them is the believer who is granted a life in Islam, because he continues to say «سبحان الله، الحمدلله، لا اله الا الله» throughout his life."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A servant does not seek refuge from the Fire seven times in a day except that the Fire says: O my Lord! Your such-and-such servant has sought refuge with You from me, so grant him refuge. Likewise, when a person asks Allah for Paradise seven times in a day, Paradise says: O my Lord! Your such-and-such servant has asked You for me, so admit him into Paradise."
