It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(O Ali!) Only a believer will love you, and only a hypocrite will harbor hatred against you."

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ali will pay my debt." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, Sayyiduna Hubshi bin Junadah, and Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with them).

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We were sitting, waiting for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he came out from the house of one of his wives and came to us. We stood up (and) walked with him. His sandal broke, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stayed behind to stitch it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept walking and we walked with him. At one place, he stopped to wait for Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and we also stopped with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Some of you will strive in jihad according to the interpretation of this Qur'an, just as I do." We began to look around, and among us were Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No, I mean the one who is stitching the sandal (Ali)." We went to give Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) the glad tidings, but it seemed as if he had already heard this good news himself.

Muswar says that Hasan bin Hasan sent me a proposal to marry my daughter. I told the messenger: Tell him to meet me in the evening. He met Muswar at the appointed time. Muswar praised and glorified Allah and said: By Allah! There is no lineage and marital relationship more beloved to me than your lineage and status, and your familial and marital ties. In fact, the matter is that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: "Fatimah is a part of me; whatever distresses her distresses me, and whatever pleases her pleases me. And on the Day of Resurrection, all lineages and relationships will be cut off except my lineage, relationship, and kinship by marriage." (After this hadith, consider that in your house is the daughter of Lady Fatimah (رضي الله عنها). If I also marry my daughter to you, she will be distressed (so what will become of me and my daughter in such a case?). Hasan bin Hasan understood his excuse and left.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After Maryam bint Imran, the leaders of the women of Paradise are these (three women): Fatimah, Khadijah, and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh."

Umm al-Mu’minin, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we, the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), were gathered with him, and not a single one was absent. Lady Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came walking towards him, and her manner of walking was exactly like that of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he saw her, he welcomed her, saying:“My daughter! Welcome.”Then he seated her to his right or left side. He whispered something to her, and she began to weep intensely. When he saw her distress and grief, he whispered to her a second time, and this time she began to laugh. Among the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I said to her: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) confided something to you, yet you began to weep. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and left, I asked her: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) whisper to you? She said: I cannot disclose the secret of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he passed away, I said to Lady Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): I ask you by my right over you, now you must tell me. She said: Alright, now I will tell you. She informed me that in the first whisper, he said to me:“Jibreel used to review the Qur’an with me once every year, but this year he did so twice. It seems that the time of my death is near. So fear Allah and be patient, for I am the best predecessor for you.”Hearing this, I began to weep, as you saw. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw my anxiety and distress, he said:“Fatimah! Would you not be pleased if you are made the leader of the believing women (in Paradise) or the women of this Ummah?”Upon hearing this, I laughed, as you saw.

Urwah narrates from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zainab is my most virtuous daughter; she suffered hardship because of me." When this hadith reached Ali bin Husayn (bin Fatimah), he came to Urwah and said: "A hadith has reached me in which (my grandmother) Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) has been disparaged. What is the reality of this?" Urwah said: "I do not wish that I should receive so much (wealth and riches) and then disparage Sayyidah Fatimah. From today onwards, I make a pact with you that I will not narrate this hadith."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When I see Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), tears flow from my eyes. The reason is that one day the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out while I was in the mosque. He took my hand, and I walked with him. He did not speak to me until we reached the market of Banu Qaynuqa'. He walked around there and looked here and there, then returned, and I was with him until we reached the mosque. There, he sat down with his knees drawn up and said: "Where is the little child? Call the little one to me." So Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) came running, fell into his lap, and began to put his hand in his beard. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) opened his mouth and put Hasan's mouth into his own mouth, then said: "O Allah! I love him, so love him, and love the one who loves him."

Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting on his shoulder. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying:“O Allah! I love him, so You also love him.”

Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would take me and Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and say: "O Allah! I love both of them, so You also love them."
