It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Muhajirun will be friends of one another in this world and the Hereafter, and the Tulaqa of Quraysh and the 'Utaqa of Thaqif will also be friends of one another in this world and the Hereafter."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin Asqa’, he says: I was among the Ashab al-Suffah. I saw that our condition was such that none of us had a complete garment, and due to dust, dirt, and sweat, lines would form on our bodies. (One day) suddenly, the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to us and said:“Glad tidings for the poor emigrants.”Suddenly, a man in fine clothing came to us. Whatever the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) would say, he would respond with speech more eloquent than yours, with affectation. When he left, the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Indeed, Allah dislikes him and those like him. They twist their tongues for people like grazing cows twist their tongues in the pasture. Allah will twist their faces and tongues in the Fire.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The width of my cistern (Hawd) is from Aden to Oman. Its water is whiter than snow and sweeter than honey. Most of those who will come to it will be the poor emigrants, who are now disheveled and wear dirty clothes. They do not marry well-off women, closed doors are not opened for them, and they fulfill their responsibilities, but their rights are not fulfilled."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know about that group from my Ummah who will be the first to enter Paradise?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That group is of the Muhajirun (Emigrants). On the Day of Resurrection, they will come to the gate of Paradise and demand that it be opened. The gatekeeper will ask them: Has your reckoning been completed? They will say: On what matter should we be reckoned? Our swords remained on our shoulders in the path of Allah until we died. So, the gatekeeper will open the door for them, and they (after entering) will have already taken a nap of forty years before the general people enter."

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the tribe of Banu Najjar, and the girls were singing while playing the duff: "We are the girls of Banu Najjar. How wonderful! How wonderful! Muhammad (peace be upon him) is such a good neighbor." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows that my heart loves you."

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day cannot bear enmity towards the Ansar." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them).

Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut’im narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the road to Makkah, and he said:“The people of Yemen will come to you, as if they are clouds. They are the best people of the earth.”An Ansari man said: O Messenger of Allah! Are they better than us? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. He asked again: O Messenger of Allah! Are we not the best? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. He asked again: O Messenger of Allah! Are we not the best? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in a low voice the third time:“Except for you.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah will love him, and whoever harbors enmity towards the Ansar, Allah will harbor enmity towards him.”

Sayyiduna Humaid bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was in a corner of Madinah (in a settlement). When he came, he lifted the cloth from your face, kissed you, and said: "May my parents be sacrificed for you, how pure you are, whether alive or deceased. By the Lord of the Ka'bah! Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has passed away..." Then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) went to the Ansar. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) spoke to them and mentioned all the verses and hadiths of the Messenger regarding them, and also said: (O Ansar!) You know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If people walk in one valley and the Ansar walk in another valley, I will walk in the valley of the Ansar with them." Sa'd! You know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, and you were sitting there: "The Quraysh are responsible and deserving of this (caliphate) matter. The righteous people will follow the righteous Quraysh, and the evil people will be under the evil Quraysh." Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You are speaking the truth, we are the ministers and you are the rulers." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Sayyiduna Harith bin Ziyad Sa’idi Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of the Trench, I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he was taking the pledge of allegiance from people for migration. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Take his pledge as well. He asked:“Who is he?”I said: He is my uncle’s son, Hawt bin Yazid or Yazid bin Hawt. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“I will not take your pledge, because people migrate to you (the Ansar), not you to them. By Him in Whose hand is my soul! Whoever continues to love the Ansar until he meets Allah, he will meet Allah in the state that Allah loves him, and whoever continues to bear enmity towards the Ansar until he meets Allah, he will meet Allah in the state that Allah bears enmity towards him.”
