Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established upon a person who says: 'Allah, Allah' (and in another narration: who says «لا اله الا الله» )."

Abdur Rahman bin Shumasah Mahri says: I was with Muslamah bin Makhlad, and Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present with him. Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Hour will be established upon the worst of people, who will be even worse than the people of Jahiliyyah. Whenever they call upon Allah, Allah will reject their supplication. Meanwhile, Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) came to them. Muslamah said to him: Uqbah! Pay attention to what Abdullah is saying. He said: He has more knowledge than me. I have only heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:“A group from my Ummah will continue to fight according to Allah’s command, prevailing over their enemies, and their opponents will not be able to harm them, until the Hour is established and they will remain in that state.”Upon hearing this, Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Yes, (but there is one thing for sure) then Allah will send a wind with the fragrance of musk, which will feel as soft as silk. Every soul in whose heart there is faith equal to a grain will be taken by it, then only the worst people will remain, and upon them the Hour will be established.

Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Indeed, Allah Almighty will question the servant on the Day of Resurrection, even to the extent that He will ask: When you saw evil, why did you not forbid it? When Allah Almighty will make His proof clear to His servant, he will say: O my Lord! I trusted in You and I was afraid of the people.”

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The first thing that will be removed from Islam is wine (i.e., people will no longer care about Islam's ruling regarding it)." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! How will this happen when Allah Almighty has made it completely clear? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "They will change its name."

Sayyiduna ‘Ubada bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“A group from my Ummah will change the name of alcohol and consider it lawful and permissible.”

Sayyiduna Abu Amir or Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There will be people in my Ummah who will consider adultery, silk, alcohol, and musical instruments to be lawful and permissible. Some groups will camp at the base of a tall mountain; in the evening, a shepherd will come to them with his livestock for some need, but they will say: (Go back today) come tomorrow. Allah Almighty will destroy them and will cause the mountain to fall upon them, and He will transform others into the shapes of monkeys and pigs until the Day of Resurrection."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some individuals of this Ummah will spend the night in eating, drinking, and amusement, and when morning comes, they will have become monkeys and pigs."

Sayyiduna Abu Amir or Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There will be people in my Ummah who will consider adultery, silk, alcohol, and musical instruments to be lawful and permissible. Some groups will camp at the foot of a high mountain; in the evening, a shepherd will come to them with his livestock for some need, but they will say: (Go back today) come tomorrow. Allah Almighty will destroy them and cause the mountain to fall upon them, and He will transform others into the forms of monkeys and pigs until the Day of Resurrection."

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In this Ummah also, sinking into the earth, being pelted with stones, and transformation (of people) will occur, and this will happen when people drink alcohol, give importance to female singers, and use musical instruments."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, the hornless animal will be given retribution from the horned animal."
