Is there Zakat on what is taken from the sea?
`Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "A man from the Children of Israel asked another for a loan of one thousand dinars, so he gave them to him. (Coincidentally) the debtor went on a journey, and the time for repayment arrived (but there was a sea between them). So he went to the sea, but found no means (to ride and reach the creditor to repay the debt). Therefore, he took a piece of wood, made a hole in it, placed one thousand dinars inside, and threw it into the sea, and prayed to Allah to deliver it to the creditor. So the man who had given the loan (coincidentally, one day passed by the sea) saw that piece of wood. He picked it up for his family’s firewood (then the entire hadith was narrated, at the end of which was this): When he split the wood, he found his money inside it."

One-fifth is obligatory on buried treasure
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no compensation for injury caused by an animal, nor for one who falls into a well, nor for one who dies while working in a mine. However, there is a fifth (share) on treasure found (in the ground)."

Imam branding camels given in charity is permissible
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that one day in the morning I took the newborn son of Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), Abdullah, to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he (peace and blessings be upon him) could perform tahnik for him, that is, chew a date and put it in his mouth. I found the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in such a state that he (peace and blessings be upon him) had a branding iron in his hand and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was branding the camels given in charity with it.
