Dajjal will not enter Madinah
`Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The awe of the Messiah Dajjal will not enter Madinah. At that time, Madinah will have seven gates, and at each gate there will be two angels (standing guard)."

Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "The Dajjal will certainly trample every city in the world except Makkah and Madinah. On every path to these two, angels will stand in rows as guards. Then Madinah will shake its people three times with great force, and Allah will expel every disbeliever and hypocrite (who will be present in Madinah at that time)."

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated to us a very long story about the Dajjal. Among the things he (peace be upon him) told us was this:
“The Dajjal will come and stop at the salty barren land near Madinah, but entering Madinah will be forbidden for him. At that time, a man who will be the best and most righteous among the people will go to the Dajjal and say, ‘I bear witness that you are the same Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has informed us in the hadith.’
The Dajjal will then say to the people, ‘Tell me! If I kill this man and then bring him back to life, will you still doubt my matter?’
The people will reply, ‘No.’
So the Dajjal will first kill this righteous man and then bring him back to life. When the righteous man is brought back to life, he will say, ‘By Allah! Now I am even more certain that you are indeed the Dajjal.’
Then the Dajjal will try to kill this righteous man again, but he will not be able to do so.”

Medina expels evil people.
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him):
A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and pledged allegiance to him for Islam. Then the next day he came suffering from fever and said, "Take back your pledge." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) refused three times. Then he said: "Medina is like a furnace; it removes impurities and retains what is good and pure."

Subchapter
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) migrated to Madinah, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them) were afflicted with fever. The condition of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was that when he would get a fever, he would say:“Every person wakes up in his own house in the morning, and (he does not know that) death is closer to him than the strap of his sandal.”And the condition of Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was that when he would get a fever, he would raise his voice and say:“Oh, if only I knew whether I would ever again spend a night in a valley surrounded by Idhkhir and Jalil (types of grass), and whether I would ever reach the springs of Majannah, and whether I would ever see Shamah and Tufail (names of mountains) again?”(Then he would also supplicate:)“O Allah! Curse Shaybah bin Rabi’ah, Utbah bin Rabi’ah, and Umayyah bin Khalaf, just as they expelled us from our homeland (Makkah) to a land of epidemic (Madinah).”Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) supplicated:“O Allah! Instill the love of Madinah in our hearts as You have instilled the love of Makkah, or even more than that. O Allah! Bless our Sa’ and our Mudd, and make the climate of Madinah suitable for us, and transfer its fever to (the area of) Juhfah (where the polytheists reside).”(Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her) says: When we came to Madinah, it was the most epidemic-ridden land of Allah. She also says: At that time, foul-smelling water used to flow in the valley of Bathan.
