مختصر صحيح بخاري
Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
Chapter.
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever drank alcohol in the world and did not repent, he will be deprived of (pure, that is, the pure wine of Paradise) in the Hereafter."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The adulterer, at the time of committing adultery, is not a believer; and the one who drinks alcohol, at the time of drinking, is not a believer; and the thief, at the time of stealing, is not a believer."
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) in another narration: "In the same way, when a thief commits a major robbery such that people raise their eyes to look at him, then at that time (i.e., while stealing) he is also not a believer."
Honey wine and its name "Bit'a".
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about "bit‘" which is an intoxicating drink made from honey, and the people of Yemen used to drink it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicating drink is forbidden."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Amir Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "There will be some groups in my Ummah who will consider adultery, wearing silk, drinking wine, and musical instruments as lawful, and there will be some groups who will live on the side of a mountain. In the evening, when their shepherd brings their herd to them, a poor person will come to them and ask for his need. They will reply, '(Not today) come tomorrow.' So Allah Almighty will destroy them that very night and cause the mountain to fall upon them, and the rest will be transformed (metamorphosed) into monkeys and pigs. They will remain in this punishment of Allah until the Day of Resurrection."
Making Nabidh in wooden or other vessels.
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usaid As-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he invited the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to his wedding (and at that time) his wife, who was the bride, kept serving all the people. He said, "Do you know what the bride gave the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to drink?" She had soaked some dates in a bowl overnight (and served that drink).
The Prophet permitted Nabidh in all vessels after previously forbidding it.
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade soaking nabidh (date drink) in containers other than water skins, the people said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that water skins are not available to everyone (what should they do?). So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) permitted soaking nabidh in all containers except those coated with pitch.
Prohibition of mixing fresh and dry dates for Nabidh due to intoxication or mixing dishes.
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade mixing unripe and ripe dates together, and mixing dates and grapes together for soaking; rather, each of them should be soaked separately (then there is no harm).
Drinking milk and Allah's statement about pure milk.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Abu Humayd Ansari brought milk to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a bowl from the place of Naqi’. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him:“Why did you not cover it? (At least) you could have placed a broad wooden board over it.”
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best charity is to give a she-camel with abundant milk to someone (in the way of Allah) to drink its milk, and likewise to give a goat with abundant milk, so that it fills one vessel with milk in the morning and another in the evening."
