Composing and listening to good poetry is permissible
Hadith Number: 50
اخبرنا يحيى بن آدم، نا شريك، عن عبد الملك بن عمير، عن ابي سلمة، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: إن اصدق كلمة قالتها العرب قول لبيد: الا كل شيء ما خلا الله باطل،وإن كاد امية بن ابي الصلت ليسلم.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "The truest statement that the Arabs have spoken is the statement of Labid (the poet): Listen! Everything except Allah is false (perishable)." Umayyah bin Abi Salt was close to accepting Islam.

Three practices of the Age of Ignorance
Hadith Number: 51
وبهذا الإسناد، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: قلت: ((من امر الجاهلية النياحة، وتبرئ امرئ من ابنه، وفخره على الناس)).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Three things are from the practices of the Age of Ignorance: wailing, a person disassociating himself from his father, and his boasting over people."

Three traits of hypocrisy; signs of a hypocrite
Hadith Number: 52
وبهذا الإسناد، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" ثلاث من امر المنافق وإن صام وصلى وزعم انه مسلم: إذا حدث كذب وإذا وعد اخلف وإذا ائتمن خان".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Three actions are from the signs of hypocrisy, even if the doer fasts, prays, and claims to be a Muslim: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when something is entrusted to him, he betrays the trust."

When will the Hour be established?
Hadith Number: 53
وبهذا الإسناد، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((لا تقوم الساعة على احد يقول لا إله إلا الله او يامر بالمعروف او ينهى عن المنكر)).
With this same chain, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established as long as there remains a single man who professes 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah), or who enjoins good and forbids evil."

Love of Allah and His Messenger brings the sweetness of faith
Hadith Number: 54
وبهذا الإسناد، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ثلاث من كن فيه وجد بهن حلاوة الإيمان ان يكون الله ورسوله احب إليه مما سواهما، وان يحب المرء لا يحبه إلا لله ويكره ان يرجع إلى الكفر بعد ان هداه الله للإسلام كما يكره ان يغرق في النار".
With this same chain, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever possesses three things will taste the sweetness of faith because of them: Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else, he loves a person only for the sake of Allah, and after Allah has guided him to Islam, he dislikes returning to disbelief just as he would dislike being thrown into the fire."

Repentance of an innovator
Hadith Number: 55
اخبرنا بقية بن الوليد، حدثني محمد القشيري، عن حميد بن العلاء، عن انس، يرفعه قال: ((إن الله حجب التوبة، عن صاحب كل بدعة)).
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports marfu‘an that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Allah has withheld repentance from every innovator.”

Only those who obey the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) will enter Paradise
Hadith Number: 56
وبهذا، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((والذي نفس محمد بيده ليدخلن الجنة إلا من ابى)).
With the same chain, it is narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! You will surely enter Paradise except for the one who refuses."

The beginning of Islam was with estrangement
Hadith Number: 57
وبهذا، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((إن الإسلام بدا غريبا وسيعود كما بدا غريبا)).
Narrated with the same chain, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange at its end."

The deficiency of faith
Hadith Number: 58
اخبرنا وهب بن جرير بن حازم، حدثني ابي، عن فضل بن يسار، عن ابي جعفر، انه سئل عن قول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا يسرق السارق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن))، فقال ابو جعفر: هذا الإسلام ودور دارة كبيرة، وهذا الإيمان ودور دارة صغيرة في وسط الكبيرة، قال: والإيمان مقصور في الإسلام فإذا زنى وسرق خرج من الإيمان إلى الإسلام ولا يخرجه من الإسلام إلا الكفر بالله عز وجل.
It is narrated from Abu Ja'far that he was asked about the statement of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "A fornicator cannot commit fornication while remaining a believer, and a thief cannot steal while remaining a believer." So Abu Ja'far said: This is Islam, and he drew a large circle. This is faith, and he drew a small circle in the middle of the large circle, and said: Faith is confined within Islam. So when he commits fornication and theft, he comes out from faith to Islam, and only disbelief in the essence of Allah can expel him from Islam.

Mention of forgiveness of sins
Hadith Number: 59
اخبرنا يحيى بن يحيى، نا هشيم، نا العوام بن حوشب، اخبرني عبد الله بن السائب، عن ابي هريرة، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((الشهر إلى الشهر كفارة))، يعني: رمضان إلى رمضان والجمعة إلى الجمعة كفارة، والصلاة المكتوبة إلى الصلاة المكتوبة التى تليها كفارة، ثم قال بعد ذلك:" إلا من ثلاث: الإشراك بالله، ونكث الصفقة، وترك السنة"، قال: فعرفنا ان ذلك من امر حدث، فقلنا: يا رسول الله: اما الإشراك بالله فقد عرفنا، ما نكث الصفقة وترك السنة؟ قال: ((نكث الصفقة ان تبايع رجلا فتعطيه صفقة يمينك، ثم ترجع عليه فتقاتله بسيفك، واما ترك السنة فالخروج من الجماعة)).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "The month of Ramadan is an expiation for the sins committed until the next Ramadan, Friday is an expiation for the sins committed until the next Friday, and the obligatory prayer is an expiation for the sins committed until the next obligatory prayer." Then after that he said: Except for three persons: the one who associates partners with Allah, «نكث صفقه» and the narrator of «تارك السنه» stated: So we realized that this is a new matter, we said: O Messenger of Allah! As for associating partners with Allah, we have understood that, what is meant by «نكث صفقة» and «ترك السنه» ? He (peace be upon him) said: "By «نكث صفقه» it is meant that you pledge allegiance to a person, giving him your right hand, then you break that pledge and fight him with the sword, and as for «ترك السنه» , it is to separate from the congregation of Muslims."
