Qatila bint Saifi Juhaniya (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: A Jewish scholar came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then the narrator reported the hadith similar to the previous one, and added this: Upon both matters, he said: Subhan Allah! Inability and wisdom are from destiny
Hadith Number: 72
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard a man saying: "Evil is not according to decree (qadar)." So Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Between us and the people of Qadar is the statement of Allah, the Exalted: 'The polytheists will say: If Allah had willed, we would not have committed shirk, nor would our forefathers.' He recited up to: 'If He had willed, He would have guided you all.' Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: 'Inability and wisdom are from decree (qadar).'"

Hadith Number: 73
Ibn Tawus, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Those who speak about predestination speak without knowledge. Speaking about predestination—he said: Iblis met ‘Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, and said to him: Do you not know that only what is written in your destiny will happen? Go to the top of the mountain and throw yourself down from there, and then see whether you remain alive or not. So ‘Isa, peace be upon him, said:“Allah says: It is not appropriate for a servant to test Me; I do whatever I will.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) towards Yemen, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:“You are going to a people of the Book, so (first of all) invite them to testify that there is no deity except Allah. If they accept this invitation from you, then inform them that Allah has made charity obligatory upon them in their wealth; it will be taken from their wealthy and given back to their poor. If they accept this from you, then avoid taking the best of their wealth, and beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.”

So Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Show him to me, I will seize him by the head. By Allah! If his neck comes into my hand, I will break it, and if his nose comes into my mouth, I will bite it off, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "It is as if I am with the women of Banu Fahm, they are circling with Khazraj (as if their buttocks are colliding in a state of shirk). By Allah! Their evil opinion about them will not end until they exclude Allah from decreeing good, just as they have excluded Him from decreeing evil."
