باب: {أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يأتكم مثل الذين خلوا من قبلكم مستهم البأساء والضراء} إلى: {قريب} :
Chapter.“Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you?”(V.2:214)
Hadith Number: 4525
فقال: قالت عائشة: معاذ الله , والله ما وعد الله رسوله من شيء قط، إلا علم انه كائن قبل ان يموت، ولكن لم يزل البلاء بالرسل حتى خافوا ان يكون من معهم يكذبونهم، فكانت تقرؤها وظنوا انهم قد كذبوا سورة يوسف آية 110 مثقلة".
She narrated that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: "Allah's refuge! The Prophet, he understands that the promise Allah made to him will certainly be fulfilled before his death. The matter is that the trials of the prophets continued constantly. (Help was delayed so much) that the prophets became afraid, lest the people of their nation consider them liars. So Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to recite this verse (of Surah Yusuf) in this way «وظنوا أنهم قد كذبوا» (with emphasis on the letter 'Dhal').
