'Ubadah bin as-Samit (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Do not be dishonest (and treacherous) about the war booty (i.e. steal from it before it is divided legally), as Ghulul will be like fire (for the ones who got involved in it) and a cause of disgrace to those who are guilty of it in this world and in the Hereafter.”Related by Ahmad, and An-Nasa‘i, and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.
