It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Our Lord, Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven after two-thirds of the night have passed and announces: ‘Who is there who will supplicate to Me so that I may answer his supplication? Who is there who will ask of Me so that I may give to him? And who is there who will seek forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?’”
