The Book of Pilgrimage
باب استحباب إدامة الحاج التلبية حتى يشرع في رمي جمرة العقبة يوم النحر:
Chapter: It is recommended for the pilgrim to continue reciting the Talbiyah until he starts stoning Jamrat Al-'Aqabah on the day of sacrifice

وحدثنيه يوسف بن حماد المعني ، حدثنا زياد يعني البكائي ، عن حصين ، عن كثير بن مدرك الاشجعي ، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد ، والاسود بن يزيد ، قالا: سمعنا عبد الله بن مسعود ، يقول بجمع: سمعت الذي انزلت عليه سورة البقرة هاهنا، يقول: " لبيك اللهم لبيك "، ثم لبى ولبينا معه.
'Abdul Rahman bin Yazid and al-Aswad bin Yazid reported: We heard 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud saying to the gathering of people (at Muzdalifa) that he had heard Talbiya from him, upon whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed, at this very place. And so he ('Abdullah bin Mas'ud) pronounced Talbiya and we also pronounced it with him.
