Part Three: Ahadith 500 to 750
Chapter: One who hears the Prophet ﷺ mentioned but does not send blessings
Hadith Number: 503
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit and said:“Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.”It was said to him: O Messenger of Allah! You did not use to do this before. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel said to me, ‘May his nose be rubbed in dust, the one who finds his parents or one of them in old age, and yet he does not enter Paradise (by serving them).’ I said: Ameen. Then he said, ‘May his nose be rubbed in dust, the one who witnesses the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven.’ I said: Ameen. Then he said, ‘May his nose be rubbed in dust, the one in whose presence your name is mentioned and he does not send blessings upon you.’ I said: Ameen.
