It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent us on a journey with three hundred mounts. Our leader was Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah. We camped on the shore, our provisions ran out, and we had to eat the leaves of trees. The sea cast out a fish called 'Anbar,' which we ate for half a month until our bodies became healthy and strong. One day, Sayyiduna Ubaidah took one of its ribs and stood it up, and passed the tallest camel under it, and it passed through. And for three days, he kept slaughtering three camels each day, then Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah forbade him from doing so.
