Musnad of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 14112
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا ابو عامر عبد الملك بن عمرو ، حدثنا زهير ، عن زيد يعني ابن اسلم ، عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله تعالى عنهما، قال: اشرف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على فلق من افلاق الحرة ونحن معه، فقال:" نعمت الارض المدينة إذا خرج الدجال على كل نقب من انقابها ملك، لا يدخلها، فإذا كان كذلك، رجفت المدينة باهلها ثلاث رجفات، لا يبقى منافق ولا منافقة إلا خرج إليه، واكثر يعني من يخرج إليه النساء، وذلك يوم التخليص، وذلك يوم تنفي المدينة الخبث كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد، يكون معه سبعون الفا من اليهود، على كل رجل منهم ساج وسيف محلى، فتضرب رقبته بهذا الضرب الذي عند مجتمع السيول"، ثم قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ما كانت فتنة، ولا تكون حتى تقوم الساعة، اكبر من فتنة الدجال، ولا من نبي إلا وقد حذر امته، ولاخبرنكم بشيء ما اخبره نبي امته قبلي"، ثم وضع يده على عينه، ثم قال:" اشهد ان الله عز وجل ليس باعور".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we emerged from a crevice at the place of Harrah. We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: At the time of the emergence of Dajjal, Madinah Munawwarah will be the best land. At every opening of it, an angel will be appointed, because of which Dajjal will not be able to enter Madinah Munawwarah. When this happens, there will be three earthquakes in Madinah Munawwarah, and no hypocrite (whether man or woman) will remain except that he will go out and join Dajjal, and the majority of them will be women. This day will be called Yawm al-Takhsees (the Day of Distinction), because it will be the day when Madinah Munawwarah will expel its filth just as a blacksmith’s furnace removes the impurities of iron. There will be seventy thousand Jews with Dajjal, each of them wearing a green silk cloak, a crown, and a sword adorned with ornaments. He will pitch his tent at the place where rainwater now gathers. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: From before now until the Day of Resurrection, there has never been, nor will there be, a greater trial than Dajjal. Every prophet has warned his nation about him, and I will tell you something about him that no prophet before me has told his nation: then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his hand on his eye and said: I bear witness that Allah, the Exalted, is not one-eyed.

Hadith Number: 14113
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو ، حدثنا هشام يعني ابن سعد ، عن زيد بن اسلم ، عن عبيد الله بن مقسم ، قال: سال الحسن بن محمد جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله تعالى، عن الغسل من الجنابة؟ فقال: تبل الشعر، وتغسل البشرة، قال: فكيف كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يغتسل، قال:" كان يصب على راسه ثلاثا، قال: إن راسي كثير الشعر، قال: كان راس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اكثر من راسك واطيب".
Once, Hasan bin Muhammad asked Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) about the ritual bath (ghusl) after major impurity: He replied that soak the hair thoroughly and wash the body. He asked, "How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ghusl?" He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pour water over his head three times. He said, "My hair is very long." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had more hair on his blessed head than you in terms of quantity, and in terms of fragrance, his was the best.

Hadith Number: 14114
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن حماد ، اخبرنا ابو عوانة ، عن ابي بشر ، عن سليمان بن قيس ، عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما، قال:" بايعنا نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الحديبية على ان لا نفر".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, we pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that we would not flee from the battlefield.

Hadith Number: 14115
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن حماد ، حدثنا ابو عوانة ، عن الاسود بن قيس ، عن نبيح العنزي ، ان جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما، قال: غزونا او سافرنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ونحن يومئذ بضعة عشر ومائتان فحضرت الصلاة، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" هل في القوم من ماء؟" فجاء رجل يسعى بإداوة فيها شيء من ماء، قال: فصبه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في قدح، قال: فتوضا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فاحسن الوضوء، ثم انصرف، وترك القدح، فركب الناس القدح تمسحوا وتمسحوا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" على رسلكم"، حين سمعهم يقولون ذلك، قال: فوضع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كفه في الماء والقدح، ثم قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" بسم الله"، ثم قال:" اسبغوا الوضوء" فوالذي هو ابتلاني ببصري، لقد رايت العيون، عيون الماء، يومئذ تخرج من بين اصابع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فما رفعها حتى توضئوا اجمعون.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we participated in a battle with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). At that time, we were a little more than two hundred people. When the time for prayer came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Does anyone have water?" Upon hearing this, a man came running with a vessel in which there was a little water. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) poured that water into a bowl and performed ablution thoroughly with it. After performing ablution, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left the bowl there. People rushed towards that bowl. Hearing their voices, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Stop." Then he placed his blessed hand in that water and bowl, and after saying Bismillah, he said, "Perform ablution thoroughly and completely." By the One who granted me the blessing of eyesight, I saw that day that water was gushing forth from the blessed fingers of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not lift his blessed hand until all the people had performed ablution.

Hadith Number: 14116
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، وابو النضر ، قالا: حدثنا زهير ، حدثنا ابو الزبير ، عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله تعالى عنهما، قال: خرجنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مهلين بالحج، معنا النساء والولدان، فلما قدمنا مكة، طفنا بالبيت وبالصفا والمروة، فقال لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من لم يكن معه هدي فليحلل"، قلنا: اي الحل؟ قال:" الحل كله"، قال: فاتينا النساء، ولبسنا الثياب، ومسسنا الطيب، فلما كان يوم التروية، اهللنا بالحج، وكفانا الطواف الاول بين الصفا والمروة، وامرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان نشترك في الإبل والبقر، كل سبعة منا في بدنة، فجاء سراقة بن مالك بن جعشم، فقال: يا رسول الله، بين لنا ديننا كانا خلقنا الآن، ارايت عمرتنا هذه، لعامنا هذا ام للابد؟ فقال:" لا، بل للابد"، قال: يا رسول الله، بين لنا ديننا كانا خلقنا الآن، فيما العمل اليوم؟ افيما جفت به الاقلام، وجرت به المقادير، او فيما نستقبل؟ قال:" لا، بل فيما جفت به الاقلام، وجرت به المقادير"، قال: ففيم العمل؟ قال ابو النضر في حديثه: فسمعت من سمع من ابي الزبير، يقول، قال:" اعملوا، فكل ميسر"، قال حسن، قال زهير: ثم لم افهم كلاما تكلم به ابو الزبير، فسالت ياسين، فقلت: كيف قال ابو الزبير في هذا الموضع؟ فقال: سمعته، يقول:" اعملوا، فكل ميسر".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj. Women and children were also with us. When we reached Makkah Mukarramah, we performed the Tawaf of the Ka'bah, performed Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal should come out of Ihram." We asked: In this case, what things will become lawful? He said: "All things (that had become forbidden due to Ihram) will become lawful." So after that, we went to our wives, wore sewn clothes, and applied perfume. On the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah, we put on the Ihram for Hajj. This time, we performed Tawaf first and Sa'i was sufficient. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us that seven people should share in one camel or cow. During this, Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik also came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Make the religion clear for us as if we have just been born. Is the command for 'Umrah only for this year or forever?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is forever." Then he said, "O Messenger of Allah! Make the religion clear for us as if we have just been born. For what purpose is today's action? Have the pens written it and dried, and has the decree been enforced? Or do we make our own destiny?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The pens have written it and dried, and the decree has been enforced." He asked, "Then what is the benefit of action?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Keep doing deeds, for each person will find it easy to do what he was created for."

Hadith Number: 14117
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، وابو النضر ، قالا: حدثنا زهير ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا عدوى، ولا طيرة، ولا غول".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no reality in contagious disease, bad omen, or ghosts and spirits."

Hadith Number: 14118
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، وحسن بن موسى ، قالا: حدثنا زهير ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال يحيى في حديثه: قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، او قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إذا انقطع شسع احدكم، فلا يمش في نعل واحدة، حتى يصلح شسعه، ولا يمش في خف واحدة، ولا ياكل بشماله، ولا يحتبي بالثوب الواحد، ولا يلتحف الصماء".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When the strap of one of your shoes breaks, do not walk wearing only one shoe until you fix the other, and do not walk wearing only one sock. Do not eat with your left hand, do not wrap your body in a single garment, and do not sit with your knees drawn up and your arms wrapped around them.

حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 2099، وقد صرح أبو الزبير بسماعه من جابر عند المصنف برقم: 14187، فانتفت شبهة تدليسه
Hadith Number: 14119
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، حدثنا إسرائيل ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن سعيد بن ابي كرب ، عن جابر بن عبد الله ، قال:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يخطب إلى خشبة، فلما جعل منبر، حنت حنين الناقة إلى ولدها، فاتاها، فوضع يده عليها، فسكنت".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver sermons leaning on a wooden trunk. When the pulpit was made, that wooden trunk began to weep like a she-camel weeps for its young. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to it and placed his blessed hand on it, and it became quiet.

Hadith Number: 14120
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال:" رايت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي في ثوب واحد".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in a single garment.

Hadith Number: 14121
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان ياكل الرجل بشماله، او يمشي في نعل واحدة، او يحتبي بثوب واحد، او يشتمل الصماء".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When the strap of the shoe of any one of you breaks, he should not walk wearing only one shoe until he fixes the other, and he should not walk wearing only one sock either. He should not eat with his left hand, should not wrap his body in a single garment, and should not sit with one knee raised.
