It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon when a man came. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Have you prayed two rak'ahs?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then pray two rak'ahs." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that even if a person had already prayed these two rak'ahs at home, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) still liked that after coming to the mosque, these two rak'ahs should be prayed.
