It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“My Lord has granted me seventy thousand individuals from my Ummah who will enter Paradise without reckoning.”Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Did you not ask for more than this? He replied:“I did ask, upon which Allah granted me, with each of them, a further seventy thousand.”Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) again submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Did you not ask for more than this? He replied:“I did ask, upon which Allah granted me even more individuals.”Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his hands, and the narrator explains that this is such a great number that none knows it except Allah.
