حديث أم سلمة زوج النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith of Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 26653
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن توبة العنبري , عن محمد بن إبراهيم ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ام سلمة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه: " لم يكن يصوم من السنة شهرا تاما يعلم إلا شعبان، يصل به رمضان" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I never saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fasting two consecutive months, except that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would join the fasting of Sha'ban with that of Ramadan.
