Abu Muhammad – who is among the students of Sayyiduna Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) – narrates this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that once the martyrs were mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said:“Most of the martyrs of my Ummah will die on their beds, and those killed between two ranks on the battlefield will be very few, whose intentions Allah knows best.”
