Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 3994
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عبد الصمد ، وعفان ، قالا: حدثنا حماد ، عن عاصم ، عن زر ، عن ابن مسعود ، ان رجلا من اهل الصفة مات، فوجدوا في بردته دينارين، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" كيتان".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of the people of Suffah passed away, and people found two dinars in his sheet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "These are two coals of Hell."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده حسن.
