Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 5013
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، وبهز ، قالا: حدثنا شعبة ، عن جبلة ، سمعت ابن عمر يحدث، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الحنتمة"، قلت له: ما الحنتمة؟ قال: الجرة.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade «حنتمه» , someone asked: What is that thing? He replied: "It is the jug that is used for nabidh (or for distilling wine)."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 1997.
