Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 5052
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن توبة العنبري ، قال: سمعت مورقا العجلي ، قال: سمعت رجلا سال ابن عمر ، او هو سال ابن عمر، فقال:" هل تصلي الضحى؟ قال: لا، قال عمر؟ قال: لا؟ فقال: ابو بكر؟ فقال: فرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: لا إخال".
Muraq ‘Ajli (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): Do you perform the Duha prayer? He said, No! I asked: Did Sayyiduna ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) perform it? He replied: No! I asked: Did Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) perform it? He replied: No! I asked: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform it? He replied: I do not think so.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 1157.
