Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 8914
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد ، عن ابي سهيل بن مالك ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا استهل رمضان، غلقت ابواب النار، وفتحت ابواب الجنة، وصفدت الشياطين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد قوي، خ: 1899 م: 1079
