Abdur Rahman bin Qasim narrates from his father: He heard Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) saying: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj, we also set out with him. Our intention was only to perform Hajj, until when I reached the place of Sarif or came near it, I began menstruating. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, and I was crying. He (peace be upon him) asked: "What has happened to you? Have you started menstruating?" I replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Perform all the rites that the pilgrims perform, except do not perform the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah)." Sayyida Aisha narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives.
