Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Abyssinians were displaying war tricks with their small spears, so I was watching them from between the ears and shoulders of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) until I myself moved back. Ya’qub bin Zaid, in his narration, has further added these words: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) further said:“Satan grabs the clothes of each one of them and says, ‘You watch,’ but when Umar came, the devils scattered here and there.”Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:“O Banu Arfidah! Continue your display so that the Jews and Christians may know that there is allowance in our religion.”Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Of the words they were uttering, I only remember this much, that they were saying,“Abul Qasim is pure, Abul Qasim is pure.”
