Zayd bin Yathi’ reports: We asked Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him),“With what things were you sent during Hajj?”He replied: I was sent with four things (that is, to make these four proclamations):“Only a believer will enter Paradise; no person will perform Tawaf of the House of Allah while naked; after this year, Muslims and polytheists will not gather together in Masjid al-Haram; and whoever has a treaty with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), his treaty will last until its appointed term, and whoever does not have a treaty, his respite is four months.”
