Hadiths of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in which he said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)"

Hadith Number: 491
حدثنا سفيان ، عن ابن ابي ليلى ، عن داود بن علي ، عن ابيه ، عن جده ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لئن بقيت لآمرن بصيام يوم قبله او يوم بعده" يعني يوم عاشوراء .
Dawud bin Ali narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If I remain alive, I will surely order to fast one day before it or one day after it." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) meant the day of Ashura.
