Hadith Number: 1407
وحدثني مالك، عن هشام بن عروة، عن ابيه" انه كان يكري ارضه بالذهب والورق" . وسئل مالك عن رجل اكرى مزرعته بمائة صاع من تمر، او مما يخرج منها من الحنطة او من غير ما يخرج منها؟ فكره ذلك
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair used to lease his land in exchange for silver or gold.
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: If a person leases his land on the condition that when dates or wheat or any other thing is produced in it, he will take a certain amount, for example, one hundred saa'? Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) considered this to be disliked.
