٢٥٨٣٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا عبد الوارث قال: حدثنا عطاء بن السائب عن محارب بن دثار عن ابن عمر قال في العقيقة: تذبح عنه يوم السابع (ويحلق) (١) راسه، (ويتصدق) (٢) بوزن شعره فضة، ويلطخ راسه بالدم (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:

(٣) ضعيف؛ عطاء اختلط.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he says regarding ‘Aqiqah: A sheep will be slaughtered on behalf of the child on the seventh day. The child's head will be cleaned. Silver equal to the weight of the hair will be given in charity, and its head will be smeared with blood.
