Where Should the Lower Garment Be Worn?

٢٦٤٣٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن ابي (سنان) (١) عن عبد الله بن ابي الهذيل قال: سال ابو بكر رسول الله ﷺ عن موضع الإزار، فقال:" (مستدق) (٢) ⦗٥٢٦⦘ الساق، لا خير فيما اسفل (من ذلك) (٣)، ولا خير فيما فوق ذلك" (٤).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [ح]: (الشيباني).
(٢) في [هـ]: (مسرق)، وفي [أ]: (مسدق).
(٣) سقط من: [ز].
(٤) مرسل؛ عبد اللَّه بن أبي الهذيل تابعي.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Abu Al-Huzail that he says Hazrat Abu Bakr asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the place of the izar (lower garment)? So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Near the thin part of the shin. If it is below that, there is no good in it, and if it is above that, there is no good in it."
