Ibrahim narrates that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say regarding the issue of the sister, mother, and grandfather that the sister will receive half of the wealth, the mother will receive one-sixth, and the grandfather will receive the remaining wealth. Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that this issue, according to the statement of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), will be resolved from six shares, and according to the statement of Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), from nine shares.
