٤٠١٧٣ - حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش عن (زيد) (١) بن وهب قال: مات رجل من المنافقين فلم يصل عليه حذيفة، فقال له عمر: امن القوم هو؟ قال: ⦗٢٩٥⦘ نعم، فقال له عمر: بالله منهم انا؟ قال: (لا) (٢)، (ولن) (٣) اخبر به احدا بعدك (٤).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب]: (يزيد).
(٢) سقط من: [أ، ب].
(٣) في [أ، ب]: (ولين).
(٤) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسدد كما في المطالب العالية (٣٦٢٣)، ويعقوب في المعرفة ٣/ ٨٧، وابن عساكر ١٢/ ٢٧٦.
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Wahb that he said: One of the hypocrites died, and Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) did not perform his funeral prayer. Hazrat Umar asked him, "Is he among the hypocrites?" He replied, "Yes!" Hazrat Umar then asked him, "For the sake of Allah, tell me, am I among the hypocrites?" He replied, "No, and I will never inform anyone about this in the future (as to who is a hypocrite and who is not)."
