باب صفة صلاة الخسوف والكسوف وهيئتهما
Chapter on the description of the eclipse and lunar eclipse prayers and their manner
Numbering by, Al-Ilmiyyah: 1765, Al-Resalah: ,1789
حدثنا عبد الله بن سليمان ، حدثنا احمد بن صالح ، ثنا عنبسة ، ثنا يونس، عن الزهري ، قال: وكان كثير بن العباس ، يحدث، ان عبد الله بن عباس ، كان يحدث، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى في كسوف الشمس، مثل حديث عروة، عن عائشة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" انه صلى في كل ركعة ركعتين".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prayer of the solar eclipse. This narration is transmitted in the same manner as it is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): he performed two bowings (ruku) in each unit (rak‘ah).
